Fred Nitting is the Chief Executive Officer of Accume Partners. As CEO, he oversees the coordination of the firm’s operations including business unit operations, infrastructure, and resource development, all of which span practice operations, administration and leadership strategy. Prior to becoming CEO, Fred led Accume Partners’ Financial Services Practice.

Fred plays an integral role in the development and implementation of strategic objectives and initiatives and is responsible for the day-to-day management of profitability, operations, and the firm’s executive and leadership teams. He also maintains client relationships, interfaces with the investor community and represents the firm at industry events and client forums.

Fred has over 25 years experience in the banking and investment services industries with particular expertise in operational accounting and internal control, financial management and regulatory reporting, budgeting and forecasting, change management, and team building.

Prior to joining Accume Partners, Fred held various senior management positions such as Controller and CFO at JP Morgan, Bankers Trust and Citibank and Managing Director and Head of Finance at Rabobank International . He also spent more than ten years in KPMG’s audit and consulting practices focusing on delivering financial and risk management consulting, business process redesign, and profit improvement services to clients worldwide. In addition, he is experienced in the review of organizational processes, back-office support systems, accounting control procedures and cash management practices with a focus on optimizing funds movement across departments, functions, and products. Fred is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and the New Jersey State Society of CPA’s. He also serves on the Board of Regents and Audit Committee at Saint Peter’s College where he graduated with a B.S. in Accounting.
